KLR, a top-100 accounting and consulting firm, is in search of a Marketing and Business Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. You’ll have the opportunity to work, in a hybrid capacity, both remotely and from one of our offices in Providence and Boston.

The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator position assists the Marketing team on various marketing and business development initiatives for KLR and will collaborate with colleagues throughout the firm and our affiliates. A successful candidate will be someone who is highly organized, comfortable taking initiative to contribute in areas needed across the department and has outstanding attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

CRM Oversight & Database Management

  • Tracks and maintains CRM database (Salesforce)- companies and contacts and maintains data integrity improvements.
  • Moves leads through the sales process and updates/reviews necessary fields.
  • Drafts monthly pipeline reports.

Proposal/RFP/Presentation Development

  • Coordinate the drafting of proposals/requests for proposals (RFP’s) for the firm including gathering information, development of custom written content and sourcing existing content.
  • Work with key partners to review and obtain approval of proposal documents, maintain consistent firm branding and prepare document for final review and delivery.
  • Maintain bank of commonly used proposal content.
  • Draft and edit presentations for firm use.

Prospecting/Targeting

  • Identify potential business opportunities with new and existing clients through client research and CRM analysis
  • Develop target lists for marketing campaigns, lead nurturing and other outreach

Market Research

  • Conduct client, prospect, industry, competitor and market research/analysis to inform targeted business development efforts.
  • Support other marketing and business development projects and initiatives, as needed.


Added bonus if you have …

  • Experience assisting in the creation and implementation of email communications using a marketing automation software.
  • Contributed ideas for marketing/lead nurture campaigns based off of business development data insights.
  • Knowledge of social media, content creation and distribution.
  • Graphic design experience.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • An ideal candidate will have 5+ years of marketing and business development experience.
  • Prior experience in a professional services environment preferred.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including accurate proofreading; pays close attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting and competing priorities, while staying focused on quality.
  • Significant analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex data for audiences at all levels
  • Proficiency to identify and implement creative solutions for projects to meet the needs of the firm’s internal and external clients.
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (required), and Teams (preferred).
  • Knowledge of CRM tools, Salesforce a plus, but not a requirement.

We are looking for a candidate to work full time. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
